It's all mo-ver now

Jack Simpson

Head of Marketing and Communications

I know it was you, Fredo.

It’s been a particularly characteristically cold November in Greater Manchester. But Movember has kept our faces warm and our spirits high. Sometimes the only thing between me getting up for work, and staying in bed and weeping, was the thought of walking into the office and seeing the adventurous horizon of thin stubble on Brodie’s upper-lip. Or finding out what kind of stick on moustache Ian’s pop-up banner had been hilariously adorned with. Or receiving a motivational quote from Terence. But unfortunately, November has come to an end, which means 2 things:

  • I have to stop coming up with outrageous mo-related puns
  • It’s time to start getting excited for our Christmas party on the 5th!

So far, we’ve raised an impressive £256.00 and counting on our Mo-space page, not including what we’ll find in the donation boxes around the office. This year the charity has raised more than £35M worldwide. As I put in an email at the start of the month, we’ll all know somebody who has been affected by cancer or mental health issues, and it feels good to have been a part of the fight against diseases such as testicular and prostate cancer.

Without further ado, meet the team:

Brodie Gilmour – The Artist

Ryszard Rowinski – Late Bloomer

Jack Simpson – For Relaxing Times

Terence Inchbold – The Survivalist

James Peiris – Dark Follicle Sparsity

Andy Foster – Man of Movember!

We had some hilarious times, but more importantly, we raised a large amount of money for an important cause. See you next year!
