Stop! It’s Christmas Party Time

Clapton is god

If things have been a bit quite around here lately, I apologise. We’ve been focused on some massive Christmas Party preparations. I know you are all on the edge of your seats, here’s a glimpse into what we have planned.

Secret Santa Presents around the REAL treeAs you know we have been diligently putting together a Christmas Newsletter in addition to the Christmas cards that are being sent out this year. We have also been putting together a show for the Christmas Party. Well, show isn’t exactly the word for it, call it rolling slides to play in the background, celebrating everything that has happened (which was photographically documented) over the course of the past year. If you are coming to our Christmas Party, here is how the night is planned.

In the beginning, there are Arrival Drinks, a little something to get the palette ready. Next we have starters and then the real party begins with Craig’s Christmas speech. I have yet to experience the joys of the infamous Christmas Party speech, but if rumours are anything to go by it is going to be an excellent time to break out the wine. The speech has been allotted 15 minutes. When Craig goes into overtime, the servers have been given instructions to serve the Main anyway. Perhaps the sight of his food getting cold will curtail this year’s speech’s length. Perhaps. Also during this time we will have the Christmas Quiz. I am not entirely sure what is in the Christmas Quiz, I am fairly confident that there are faces to be identified which will span multiple generations.

After the Main course will come the Webbie Awards, a hallmark of the Christmas Party. This year there are nine award categories.
