Well, Halloween has come and gone and today we had the results of the inaugural Pumpkin Carving Competition.  A total of seven entries were received, and every entry had its own brand of creativity and ingenuity.  Let’s take a look at the results.

First off the bat, Cheryl’s pumpkin.  A goofy addition but I believe it achieved the desired effect.  PS – what happened to the top of its head?Cheryl Pumpkin

Next in line is Chris H’s pumpkin, sitting by the fireplace.  A thoroughly creepy bug-eyed pumpkin, well done for what may very well be a first-attempt.

Following this is Kate’s pumpkin, with its devilish wink Winking smile

Next in line is Lee’s pumpkin, definitely one of the scarier additions inspired by the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas, and just look at that nose!

And now for Kerry’s Pumpkin.  Look at those clean lines.

And now for the Melanie masterpiece, a geometric phenomenon, a terrifying addition…
