Our very own Craig Dean has been shortlisted for JCI Manchester’s Young Talent Award.

The specific category that Craig has been nominated for is ‘Inspiring Education’ which is sure to be very competitive. JCI Manchester’s Young Talent Awards program recognises eight outstanding individuals between the ages of 18-39 who exemplify the best attributes of Manchester’s businesspeople. The winner will be decided by a panel of judges made up from past presidents whom are all well respected members of the Manchester business community. All proceeds from the night will be donated to two nominated charities, Factor 50 and Shelter.

The winners will be announced during the Black Tie dinner in Manchester’s Place Hotel on November 18th 2010. The categories include Business Accomplishment, Entrepreneur/Innovator, Philanthropist of the year, Environmental Leadership, International Impact, Inspiring Education, Young professional of the year and the Rising Star Award. Craig has been shortlisted for the Inspiring Education Award due to his work with several local schools and colleges, serving on their boards, conducting workshops and consulting on policy. He is honoured to have been shortlisted.

In addition to being shortlisted we have also decided become a sponsor of the awards. Web Applications UK will be specifically sponsoring the Environmental Leadership award in addition to occupying a table of ten and may be spotted in the VIP bar section. We are also very excited to be given the opportunity to present the Environmental Leadership award as the dress code is Black Tie and Glamorous – we do so enjoy dressing up.
