So it goes

Our HeroSteve will be racing in the Great Manchester Run to support the Children’s Burns Foundation, Charity Registration No. 1121682. Steve’s fiancée Claire is a sister in the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Burns Ward, which is the impetus for supporting this particular charity. Money raised from the event will go to help burn-injured children have a fun week away at a camp located in the Lake District. The camp is run purely on donations and fund raising by the charity so Claire and Steve are very excited to be a part of this great opportunity.

Steve and Claire have been training for this 10k run since January and hope to complete the race in a respectable time. They will be racing in Pink so keep a look out for them in Manchester City Centre this Sunday; their start time is 12:20pm. More information on the Children’s Burns Foundation can be found here. If you would like to read Steve and Claire’s story and donate to help support them, their information can be found here.

Everyone here at Web Applications is pulling together to give Steve the confidence that he’s going to do amazingly well and exceed his expected finish time. At the moment Steve has only made it to 5k in practice runs but we’re sure he’ll be fine. Web Applications UK is a proud supporter of Steve and his cause. Go Steve!
