Bespoke travel software passionately made in Oldham, UK.
What’s the deal?
Our commitment to having a positive impact on our community is part of who we are. Every year, we welcome young people into our offices to gain experience of the world of work.
What does the position involve?
This depends on your area of interest. You can choose to spend a few days in each of our departments to gain a broad understanding of how a tech company operates, or you can tailor your placement to learn more about a specific area. For example, if you’re a budding software developer, you can spend your placement alongside our talented programmers.
What qualifications/experience will I need?
Again, this really depends on your interests and what you’re hoping to achieve from your placement. You should be able to demonstrate a clear interest in your chosen field, either by working towards relevant qualifications or through extra-curricular activities such as code clubs.
What character attributes would best suit the role?
We love meeting passionate people who want to learn. You will be working in a busy tech company, so we expect a mature and professional attitude, and a willingness to work hard for the duration of the placement.
What training will be provided?
On-the-job training and formal supervision are offered. We also mirror the real work experience as closely as possible, so you will have the opportunity to develop your employability skills.
When is the application closing date?
We encourage applications at all times. As such, there are no official closing or start dates. Placements usually last 1-2 weeks.
Is there an opportunity to secure further employment after I complete the placement?
Yes! A number of our interns, industrial placement students, and even some full-time software engineers have come through our work experience programme.
