Naomi and Dale will be manning a display stand at the Queen Elizabeth Hall exhibition centre in Oldham on November 8 from 3:30 to 7:00pm. The times were chosen so that young people could attend after school if they wished. The Your Choice exhibition will be run by Connexions Oldham – its purpose is to engage young people and get them thinking about their futures. Connexions Oldham provides information and advice to young people aged 13-19 on topics like health, lifestyle, careers and personal development.

The exhibition will feature presentations in two rooms; the Royton Suite will host talks on Apprenticeships, Options after Year 11 and Education Maintenance Allowances. The Saddleworth Suite will produce presentations on Finance at University, Careers in the NHS and Motivating and Supporting Students. The presentations in the two suites will run in tandem so students and young people must choose which talks they would like to hear.

The exhibition will feature 40 different employers, training providers, colleges, voluntary agencies and advice services to help students in year 11 make career plans for the future. You can find out more information on this event through the Connexions website.
