Wear it Pink is a nationwide event hosted by the Breast Cancer Campaign and supported by Vanish. Participants are asked to donate £2 towards the cause as well as wear pink in support of the research campaign. This is shaping up to be the autumn of cancer support with the MacMillan Charity Breakfast on September 24 and wear it pink day October 29.

Those who know Web Applications UK will be aware that we love our uniform and wear it everywhere we can. With this in mind it is with great importance that we announce that in support of wear it pink day anyone who comes into work wearing something pink is not(!) required to wear the uniform.

At the moment the Breast Cancer Campaign supports 106 projects across the UK and Ireland. This will be the third year in a row that Web Applications UK and its staff have been involved in the campaign and we hope that it’s a tradition that will continue on for years to come.
