The User Group Seminar this year is going to be phenomenal. Personally, this will be my first UGS which makes me extremely excited and curious to see what is going to happen. Fortunately for me, I get a little insider knowledge, and let me tell you, it’s going to be great.

First off, does it get much nicer than the Castlefield Rooms? I think not. I was given the opportunity to have a look around the venue a little while ago and I think I’m looking forward to Albert’s Shed’s food almost as much as anything else. It’s going to be delicious.

Next, we have a ton of great announcements to make. This has been a very ambitious year for Web Applications UK and we’ve seen a lot of growth. We’re going to be announcing some pretty big things and explaining our presentations in great detail, so it’s truly worth it to be in attendance, you’re not going to want to miss it. We have demonstrations prepared and a ton of new ideas bouncing around that we can’t wait to channel towards you, our clients and partners. These announcements, well, they’re huge, optimistic, and you really don’t want to miss out on the first-hand experience. I can’t give away any more than that.

We have a great speaker from Microsoft coming. Now, if SQL and BI don’t immediately sound enthralling, just wait until you hear what they are going to do for your business and you’ll be hooked. Just remember a good public speaker can make anything interesting, and we’ve bagged a great one. Andrew Fryer has been known to talk about a range of subjects and part of his job is doing these kinds of presentations. Microsoft doesn’t let just anybody represent them - so you know Fryer is going to be good. If you need any more convincing just check out his blog, it will blow you away.
