Developing the next generation of Software Engineers

Currently, Web Applications UK employs around 50 talented Software Engineers who all have a passion for coding. However, it is generally understood and accepted that there are too few highly skilled Software Developers within the UK IT industry, causing many employers to fight over a somewhat young developer pool. There are several causes for this, one being that the current generation of children are confident using technology but there are not enough people learning or wanting to learn how it is made. WAUKCE – Now Open Every Saturday

In late 2012 The Centre of Excellence ran a two week trial period to discover when it is most convenient for candidates to sit an exam. It became clear to us that many people took advantage of the weekend opening hours, allowing them to take an exam outside of their usual work hours. To ensure we provide the best possible service, we will be open every Saturday 12-6pm, starting on Saturday 9th Feburary 2013.
