Oldham Means Business

Those who believe in telekinetics, raise my hand.

When we relocated to our home at Windsor Works next to the Mumps roundabout, we did so with a vision. Seeing the potential of the area, we knew our investment would pay off pretty quickly. Soon after, the Metrolink station opened right on our doorstep and the area continues to improve as the new Mumps junction emerges.

Transport links to our office are better than ever. Trams are every twelve minutes and the regular and convenient buses continue to stop just outside. We’re only moments away from the M60 and M62 and whether we’re driving or using public transport, we can reach Manchester city centre in less than half an hour.

From our building we can see Oldham town centre, but the approach could do with some improving. It has now been announced that the derelict buildings on the edge of the town are being demolished. Three previously commercial buildings on Yorkshire Street are being pulled down to make way for new developments.

Demolition is set to take place over the next few weeks, and the Council will be using the space for a portfolio of revitalisation in the area. With our own converted Victorian mill in place and Hotel Future on the horizon, Oldham will soon look as ambitious and thriving as we believe it is.
