Web Applications UK will be at The Science and Engineering Employability Day on Wednesday 23rd January. Held in The John Dalton Building at Manchester Metropolitan University, the careers fair will run from 11am – 2pm.

As with any recruitment fair, students have the opportunity to meet and network with a range of employers giving them the chance to discover exactly what they are looking for. This face to face communication with businesses will not only allow you to develop the necessary skills needed to maximise your career success, but it will ultimately increase confidence and develop vital communication skills.

This particular recruitment fair is aimed at individuals who study computer science, engineering, mathematics, electronics and science, but students from any discipline are welcome. There are various materials online to be used on the day including a PDF document entitled “How to make the most out of the day”. In addition to this, students can attend supporting events including ‘How to use careers fairs’ held on Tuesday 15th January at 1-2pm and Tuesday 22nd January at 12-1pm.

Web Applications UK will be joined by a whole host of other employers including TeachFirst, Trader Media Group and FDM group. For more information, visit the MMU careers website or email careers@mmu.ac.uk.

If you are looking for an internship, Industrial Placement or a graduate job as a Software Engineer, then be sure to visit the Web Applications UK stand, there will be giveaways too!
