Ready, Set, Mo!

Movember, the month formerly known as November, is upon us. Every year, men around the world grow moustaches throughout November in order to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

This is our third year supporting the cause and we have more participants than ever before. Ten fresh-faced Mo Bros strutted into the office on Thursday, the first day of Movember. Every week, we will post a blog update complete with pictures of the manliness sprouting from our Mo Bros’ faces. This week, you are treated to pictures of the smoothest faces around:

Rob Illing, Captain of Team Movember

James Rowlands, without his usual stubble

Daniel Pavlovs, looking smooth

John Sampson, an entirely different person without his beard

Joe Taylor, ready to Mo

Rehan Tufail, one of our newest Mo Bros

Adel Salhi, all set to add a moustache to his facial hair collection

Although this event is usually aimed at men, one of our industrial placement students, Dalli came up with a fun way to get in on the action. Setting up her own website and joining our team on Mo Space, Dalli is raising money by allowing a different person each day draw a moustache on her face to be worn for the entire working day. The best design at the end of the month will be given a prize; so far we’ve seen a Charlie Chaplin ‘tache and a design named ‘The Circle of Life’.

On the last day of Movember, we are holding a Mo Party to celebrate the facial hair achievements of our team. The best moustache will be given the Man of Movember award and I think it’s clear who is on track for winning Miss Movember!
