WA:UK Centre of Excellence is delighted to announce that it has gained recognition as an Accredited Learning Provider by the Learning and Performance Institute.
The Institute (formerly the Institute of IT Training) is the UK’s professional organisation for learning and development. It is fully committed to continually raising the standards of organisations in the industry.
The accreditation process involves an in-depth audit of an organisation’s business plan, processes, advertising, courseware, performance metrics, personnel, premises and practices. Accredited organisations are required to conform to a rigorous code of practice.
Vic Wiseman, Chief Consultant at the Learning & Performance Institute visited the WA:UK Centre of Excellence on Monday 22nd October and personally carried out our learning provider audit. After spending several hours going through our processes, financial standing, course portfolio and the qualifications of the trainers, he declared himself to be “highly satisfied” with the Centre. “I’m more than impressed with what I’ve seen today,” he added.
Alan Sweeney, MD of the Centre of Excellence said “Being granted accreditation gives people the confidence that we have been audited by an independent professional body and that we meet its high standards. It also shows that our Centre has been approved as a quality organisation with excellent facilities and well-qualified trainers.”
“It’s comparatively rare for a young organisation to be given the same level of accreditation as established providers,” he continued. “We’re very happy to have been accredited as a learning provider. LPI recognition differentiates the best organisations and highlights that we are an quality provider offering training to the highest possible standard.”
