Our Chief Executive, Craig Dean has been chosen as North West Entrepreneur of the Year in the Chamber Awards 2012. Being regional winner also means he is now in the running for the national prize!

Craig’s entrepreneurial spirit is matched by his passion for education which makes him stand out in the business world. Craig’s roles outside of the business including Oldham president of the GMCC, Chair of Governors at Oasis Academy Oldham and governor at Oldham College have enabled him to make a real impact. His vision for the future of the company along with his dedication to the community has attracted the attention of this prestigious award.

The awards ceremony is being held at Guildhall, London on Thursday 29th November. Representatives from fellow nominees The Trafford Centre, Jaguar Land Rover and Greggs will be in attendance. Our table will be abuzz with excitement as we wait with anticipation to find out if Craig has won the national award.

News travelled fast and Craig featured in the latest issue of 53° magazine from Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. Reporting that our Chief Executive Craig Dean has been nominated for the award, the article moves on to talk about Craig’s newest business venture – The Centre of Excellence.

Yesterday, the Oldham Chronicle reported on Craig’s success as North West Entrepreneur of the Year, beating tough competition! Proud of his roots, Craig was quoted describing Oldham as “a beacon of business in the region”. Along with everyone at Web Applications UK, the local community is behind Craig in his quest to win the national award. Good luck Craig!
