Just one week from today on Friday 29th June, The Web Applications UK Centre of Excellence will be opening its doors to the public.
The Centre of Excellence is a unique I.T. training facility delivering quality education by our experienced I.T. professionals. Taking pride in providing bespoke training opportunities, WAUKCE brings a customised service to the Greater Manchester area.
By utilising the resources we already have, we are able to produce brilliant and relevant I.T. training – something that is lacking in the industry. WAUKCE is a complete end-to-end service, with training rooms, tailored courses and a testing centre.
On Friday 29th June, we invite you to join us and The Worshipful The Mayor of Oldham Metropolitan Borough, Councillor Olwen Chadderton for the official opening at 1:30pm. To mark the occasion, The Mayor will be unveiling a commemorative plaque. Following this, we will be holding a celebratory open afternoon between 3pm-7pm for anyone to come and have a tour around the building. A business card draw has been planned with prizes well worth winning!
This event began as the brainchild of WAUKCE’s Managing Director – Alan Sweeney. Though it has been a long time coming; the Centre of Excellence has been open since November 2011 predominantly focusing on the test centre. Now with Alan on board and WAUKCE becoming the training facility it was always meant to be, it seems the perfect time to showcase what we have to offer.
