Next Friday (2nd March) the 4th One Oldham Business Awards will take place at Queen Elizabeth Hall.
This important occasion within the Oldham community gives local businesses the opportunity to gain recognition and celebrate their success.
The awards aim to motivate both existing businesses and the next generation of entrepreneurs to continue to innovate and develop. As well as being a great platform for businesses to network it’s also an event that can inspire other local businesses to achieve their set goals.
After our very own Chief Executive Craig Dean won Businessman of the Year at 2011’s ceremony, Web Applications UK chose to become the proud sponsor of this year’s Business of the Year (1m – £5m) Award. The award will be presented to a business that is able to prove exceptional performance against its objectives and demonstrate outstanding leadership and vision. Craig has been holding judging panel meetings to decide on the winner and is looking forward to congratulating the successful business next week.

The closing date for entries has now passed as we get ready for next week’s celebrations. A few of our team and I will be attending the awards; we’re all excited to recognise the businesses that shape the fabric of our community.
